World’s Best Tester Cup
This year, Testing Assembly hosts the Finnish qualification round for the World’s Best Tester Cup. This is a great opportunity for teams of 1-3 people to compete in their testing skills for some fame and prizes. It is a friendly but serious software testing competition.
Teams of testers connect to our online competition platform, receive a surprise application to test (the “System Under Test”), and race against the clock to find and report the best bugs. There is a two-hour window to plan, execute, and report testing. Our judges score every team on the quality of their testing and reporting, and the best teams wins.
You can participate to Tester Cup if you have ticket to seminar or tutorial. Do you and your friends have what it takes?

PracticalitiesWe have a separate track 4 room in a classroom setting reserved for the Cup. Each team (of 1-3 people) gets to sit next to each other in the same row. Everyone will need to bring their laptops. The teams can also bring their AI licenses if they like to use them. We’ll provide tables, wifi, power, and the competition platform.
PrizesWinning team prize is for each team member a pair of noice-cancelling Valco headphones and a free exam voucher to an ISTQB exam at iSQI. Please note that prizes are subject to change without prior notice.
The final of the CupOnly one person from each team can attend the global final of the World’s Best Tester Cup, which will be held online in December, 2026. The attendance may be further limited by organizers based on the number of participants. The idea is that at least the winning team would send a representative to the final.
